The Department of Early Childhood Education at Nan Hua University 

Overview
 
The earliest years in a child’s life are some of the most important. During this time, skilled early childhood professionals promote the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development that forms the foundation for a child’s health and well being. As one of their first teachers, early childhood professionals will be a model, coach, and guide for young children. The Department of Early Childhood Education at Nan Hua University enables students to gain knowledge and skills in the field of childcare and early childhood education. Upon successful completion of all program requirements, graduates will be able to to facilitate discussions and learning within a classroom. They will,therefore, provide young children with the kinds of experiences that advance their development.
 
Undergraduate Admissions

Our department is based on the development of early childhood  and the teaching as the main axis, through the early childhood education and care, curriculum and teaching, education and other interdisciplinary integration courses, on the other hand to train students in early childhood education research basic literacy.
Educational goals

A. To enhance early childhood education professional knowledge and self-learning in order to enhance professionalism, strengthen professionalism.
B. Intensive application of early childhood education and industry-university cooperation to strengthen the workplace literacy, enhance employment.
C. Implementation of social, community care and physical and mental health Corning, to improve the liberal arts quality, sophisticated vitality.



Graduate Admissions

The master's program aims at fostering early childhood education and academic research talents. We hope to enable students to develop their own independent research capacity in line with their personal interests.
